The documentary “Odessa Classics – Bridge of music from Odessa to Thessaloniki” observes and records the frenetic pace of preparation of the musicians, their thoughts about their own struggle with their Muse as an ally, their joy at the whole-hearted response of the Thessaloniki audience. Stergios Fourkiotis (director) and Mariana Bozapalidou (screenplay) sign an ode to life, to the solidarity of peoples, to the peaceful power of music.A series of musicians of international renown, such as the founder and artistic director of the Odessa Classics festival, leading pianist Alexey Botvinov (who draws his origins from the Greeks of Odessa) as well as the musicians of the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, are the protagonists.
